Who Is This Guy?
And what makes him think he knows so much?
Bob Mills plays mandolin, banjo and electric guitar in a variety
of bands in southern Vermont and Western Mass. For most of the 80's
he played in Tripping Up Stairs (with John Pranio/fiddle &
Jan Drechsler/piano). His other band credentials include The NeanderBobs,
Impossible Feet, and Hi Yield Notes. He has also performed
Cajun music (guitar, and vocals in French) with Les Bayou Bontemps
to packed halls at the New England Folk Festival. Bob also runs a recording
studio oriented to traditional music and does live recording and sound.
He has been on staff at Ashokan, Buffalo Gap, Brasstown and Pinewoods
dance weeks. To complement his innovative arrangements of old-time and
Irish music, Bob also sings and plays solo guitar on his solo CD.
